About the pattern:

These slippers are knit from the toe up, with a double strand. It is important that both the stitch and row gauge are the same as in the pattern. If not, your slippers will be either too long or wide, or too short or narrow. Remember that these slippers are made from 100 percent wool and will therefore shape themselves nicely to your foot. 

 Please note that the patterns for the different sizes differ slightly to make sure the motifs come out nicely.

Needles: 3.5 mm / US 4 double pointed needles, or the needles that will give you the correct gauge. You can also use 2 circular needles or knit with the loop technique if you prefer.

Yarn: Supersoft from Holst or Supersoft from Knoll, 50 gram balls / approx 284 meters per 50 grams (these two yarns are the same, but branded by different distributors).

• Size 1: length approx 21.4 cm / 8.4 in
• Size 1: width circumference approx 20.8 cm / 8.2 in
• Size 2: length approx 24.1 cm / 9.5 in
• Size 2: width circumference approx 22.5 cm / 8.9 in
• Size 3: length approx 26.2 cm / 10.3 in
• Size 3: width circumference approx 24.2 cm / 9.5 in
• NOTE: All measurements are approximate, measured after washing and will depend on your gauge. Also, be aware that all measurements are taken flat without stretching. Stretching will make all measurements relatively longer. 

Yarn required:

• Size 1 requires approx 30 grams for pattern and 35 grams for base color.
   
• Size 2 requires approx 35 grams for pattern and 40 grams for base color.
   
• Size 3 requires approx 40 grams for pattern and 50 grams for base color.
